CS Academy will teach you how to use a range of hot volcanic basalt stones, cold marble stones & semi-precious stones. You will learn how to provide a deeply relaxing treatment which works on a mental, physical and spiritual level. It is a deep soothing and relaxing form of massage, where the heat of the stones encourages tight muscles to relax allowing a much deeper working of the tissues than a conventional massage. It consists of traditional Swedish massage strokes incorporated with the stones. You will also learn which stones are chosen to correspond to specific parts of the body and how to use cold marble stones to balance the body. Therapists discover that the stress and strain to their hands, wrists and arms are virtually eliminated. The stones and thermal variation do all the heavy work for them resulting in minimal effort from the therapist.
